(after hearing the Jonas Brothers are being compared to the Beatles) We're just three guys from New Jersey living a dream.
Luckily, I've got some really great people around me that really help me manage my diabetes. And it hasn't slowed me down yet, and I'm not planning on letting it do that. So I'm going to continue to do what I love and if I have occasional low or high blood sugar, it will be all right because I've got some really great people surrounding me.
Boys don't really know what they're doing half the time. Sometimes I'm oblivious to flirting, and I just have to ask, "Okay, what's the deal? Are you into me or not?" Or I'm the last one to even realize that I have a girlfriend until someone mentions it.
I have two modes. First I get really quiet, but then I'm the complete opposite, where I'm like telling jokes. How I act depends on the girl. It helps when a girl's really confident because then I don't feel like I have to entertain her.
My hair actually used to be straight. When I turned 12, my hair got curly. It was the weirdest thing in the world. It's always been kind of long. When it gets really long I want to cut it all off. My mom, dad and manager are always like "You have to keep your long hair."
Don't touch my muscles
Slow down, sugar, because im a diabetic. -v
Yo, thats illogical i cant have it! -v
I have the tendancy to look away when i start to like a girl.So
if i have to work hard to look her in the eyes and be engaging during a conversation then i know it's cool and it's for real. -v
I wouldn't date a girl with a bad attitude im "Mr.Positive" -v
You should be able to share everything with your girlfriend. -v
I know i've been in love. but i waited a long time before i said the word "love" to someone even though i've been thinking it, because i consider "love" to be more than just a word. -v
It's embarrassing for me to text message back and forth with a girl. I'm asking all these questions just to continue a conversation when i should just be hanging out with her. -v
I don't usually do one huge thing that's really nice. I like to spread out gifts here and there. -v
I crush on girls who are kinda quiet, too. -v
My favorite way to impress a girls is by singing to her. I want to serenade her, or at least try to. -v
I really love dresses [on a girl]. I like a girl who looks like a lady. -v
[when asked if he ever fought with somebody over a girl] I actually had a problem with my little brother Frankie. I was saying that i thought Miley Cyrus from Hannah Montana was cute. He was like "what?!" He ran over and tried to beat me up. -v
I love earlobes. No, I'm kidding. i would have to say if a girl has beautiful eyes, I'm going to be interested. -v
"Hi, I'm Nick Jonas. And today on our show we will be talking about anger on the Nick J show, with our friends, Teddy and Micky! Today on our show we have a very "Special" guest; a very delightful fellow who goes by the name of Joe Jonas. Everybody applaud! C'mon in here Joe.
(Joe comes in and sits down with an odd expression on his face.)
So Joe how're y-
(Joe hits Nick with a plastic bat-espression does not change)
Nick starts laughing as he gets up. (Joe hits him again)
Joe: I'm not angry.
Nick: Dude, why're you hitting me?
(hits Nick again-Nick continues to laugh)
Joe: I've never been angry in my entire life. The only thing that makes me angry is people videorecording me. (hits Nick once more) Making me mad. NOW TURN IT OFF!
Nick: (still laughing as Joe hunts down the cameraman)
Nick: Kevin is SEXY! ( this was at the AMA's 2008, and was about the issue of People magazine, the Sexiest Man Alive issue)
On the way to the hospital Kevin and Joe looked up diabetes online. They knew nore about it than I did before I got there! They're there for me all the time!
I used to play the drums in our church bands and I wasn't very good. To be playing in front of so many people now is amazing!
(Speaking of album) A lot of it is about typical teenage love stuff like "Oh, what am I going to do if I can't see her today?" It's not stuff that we don't know about.
(Speaking of A Little Bit Longer) The lyrical content has gotten a little more in-depth as far as who we are as people and our personal lives, with our dating and all that, things we've gone through in the past year. We were really able to put it into the songs and make a really cool record.
It's awesome to have my brothers on stage and in the studio with me. You have a security that everything is going to be okay, even when you mess up.
It doesn't matter if the weight of the world is pulling you down; with Christ you have everything.
We were in a mall on time and it was on the other side of the mall, and Kevin goes,"I can smell Starbucks."and just started running towards it.
Theres always a way to find hope!
(speaking of his diabetes) At the beginning I was asking myself, "Why me?". And now I started asking, "Why not me?".
The good thing about Joe is that he is the craziest person i have ever met and the bad thing about Joe is that he is the craziest person i have ever met. Kevin can get really into his guitar, but theire is nothing bad about him.
Girl: You must be a vehicle cause you got fine written all over you.
Nick: Wow! That was great.
Joe: It's so true!
Joe (dressed really nerdy and acting the part): See! I told you she wouldn't understand! *runs crying under covers*
Nick: You really hurt his feelings.
Kevin: Yeah, now you've done it.
Nick (pulls out a string of bells): Come on Joe, come out and see the pretty bells.
